In 2010, Ideas Empire successfully revamped and relaunched KALKITOS®, an internationally popular game brought back from the 1980s.
Riding on a well-known brand and format of toys that was created and marketed between 1977 to 1988 for children aged between 3 to 9 years of age, KALKITOS® was revived, refreshed and relaunched by Ideas Empire Pte Ltd (IE) in 2010 to meet the demands of a new market.
The original KALKITOS® is described as rub-down transfers (decalcomanias); writing instruments; rules of play for games; direct transfer paper; dry transfer sheets made of plastics; transfer papers; transfer patterns of paper; transfer sheets for the transfer symbols onto the surfaces of drawings; transfer sheets for transferring graphic representations; transfers (decalcomanias).
To preserve the nostalgic appeal of the original KALKITOS®, the refreshed design was carefully engineered to maintain familiar characteristics while incorporating new elements for a more contemporary and updated presentation.
